elope is the title of the bridal exhibitions in Ibom Fashion Collective. It shall be held in Uyo Akwa Ibom State. It shall feature exhibitions from 5 bridal houses, 5 fashion designers and a hosted of bridal service vendors, which shall include; Makeup artistes, Lingerie shops, Hairstylists, Cake designers, Decorators, Accessories designers, Wedding card vendors and designers, Souvenir vendors, etc. It shall also feature a runway show.
UYO CITY AWARDS FASHION LOUNGE [UYO] – MAY 20
Uyo City Awards debuted 17th December, 2011 as an annual rewarding social re-orientation programme to encourage and honour people/enterprises of extraordinary calling in all works of life within Uyo, who through hardwork, perseverance, resilience and integrity have risen to exceptional heights. Uyo City Awards Fashion Lounge shall be hosted in Uyo to project the 2011 edition of the awards. The theme of the show shall be same with the theme of this year’s Awards, which is ‘…’. The show will feature 5 designers showcasing a collection of 20 haute couture pieces each.

Ibom SuperModel search is designed to be an innovative international model talent search competition, where Africa's emerging top fashion talents will come together in one shinning nite! Its primary aim is to discover less exposed model talents who may not even know that they have this talent, exposing them to international model scouts and ferrying them to the international fashion circuits, where they will make a career for themselves as professional models. It also has the objective of promoting our home grown fashion designers.
www.wetinhappen.com and Kardynal Kommunikationz in association with ISIS Models South Africa will be searching for the next top model talent in the Ibom SuperModel 2011. One Grand prize winner will receive $7000 and an international modeling contract with ISIS Models Johannesburg, South Africa over a one year period, plus other potential offerings.
Ibom SuperModel Search 2011 will be held in the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State – Nigeria, and is open to all Nigerian girls of any ethnicity. The Grand finale of this event is scheduled for 22nd May, 2011 after auditioning in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on 9th April, 2011. Entry closes 25th March, 2011; 15 finalists shall be chosen for the finale of this event.
ELIGIBILITY
Ibom SuperModel 2011 is open to:
· All Nigerian Girls of Any Ethnicity
· Aged 17 - 24 Years old
· With Striking Looks
· Height, standing at 5.8" (1.78cm) or Above
· Maximum hip size not more than 36" or 92cm
· With Good Stage Projection
· With or Without Catwalk or Runway Skills
